Rewind: Tracking the first day of the Affordable Care Act

It’s finally here — the Affordable Care Act, commonly known as Obamacare, launched today. By March, everyone must have health insurance or pay a penalty. Most people who currently have insurance provided by their employer won’t be affected.

In Washington state, the insurance-exchange marketplace opened this morning as the Washington Healthplanfinder, a one-stop shopping site to help people find health insurance.
