The area’s undefeated teams

When you scan this list, you’ll see many teams you probably expected, but you’ll also find some teams that perhaps you didn’t. All your traditional contenders — Oak Harbor, Bothell, Skyline, Lakes, Archbishop Murphy, O’Dea, etc… — are there. But so are teams such as Emerald Ridge, which went 0-9 last season and but kept its undefeated season kicking last Friday with an overtime win against Spanaway Lake.

With this list, you can also see what tremendous games are still left this season: O’Dea-Eastside Catholic (Oct. 6), Edmonds-Wooday-Kamiak (Oct. 5), Lake Stevens-Oak Harbor (Oct. 12), Bothell-Eastlake (Oct. 12), Bonney Lake-Franklin Pierce (Oct. 19) and Emerald Ridge-Puyallup (Oct. 5) should all be worth watching.

When you look at this list, who do you think will finish the season undefeated?

Correction: Fife, initially on this list, is not undefeated. It forfeited its season opener against Yelm.
