Where you at this weekend?

This post is for all you casual high school football fans out there.

With the round of 16 beginning this weekend, there are some games that jump off the paper.

Top-ranked Lakes and No. 2 Skyline is gonna be fantastic. In the 4A playoffs, there’s a game between two WesCo powerhouses — No. 3 Edmonds-Woodway and No. 6 Snohomish — at Seattle Memorial. Finally Seattle fans can watch these two North-enders play in the big city.

Those are two that stuck out to me, but there are many, many more big match ups. So, let us know where you’re gonna be this weekend. Which game sticks out to you? What match up excites you the most? Any games worth taking a bit of a road trip for? Time to get pumped up…

2. Heather Thomas, Woodinville, girls soccer. Junior midfielder had a hat trick in 4-1 win over Stadium in the Class 4A state tournament.

3. Ashley Tombelaine, Snohomish, girls soccer. Had two second-half goals, including the game-winner in the 76th minute, in the Panthers’ 2-1 victory over Gig Harbor in the Class 4A state tournament.
