As a bit of commentary, does anyone find it odd that Seattle Prep’s Laura Sauvage is relegated to the second team for one bad race at state?

The sophomore won at district, was second at the Metro meet and is clearly one of the premier runners in the area, yet a cut-and-dried all-league selection process ignores her entire season’s worth of accomplishments.
