Associated Press girls basketball poll

For the myriad small-school followers who have bombarded my inbox the past month searching for rankings in Class 2A and lower, your day has come. The first Associated Press girls and boys basketball polls are out.

In the girls poll, Lewis and Clark (4A) and LaSalle (2B) are both unanimous first-place picks. Auburn Riverside took eight of 10 first-place votes in Class 3A, Anacortes took six of eight first-place votes in 2A, and Lynden Christian received six of seven first-place votes in 1A. Colton leads Class 1B with three first-place votes.

The records are provided by the Associated Press. First place votes are in parentheses.
