State basketball day one fall-out

So many big games and big moments Wednesday. Franklin’s second-ranked boys lost, as did No. 6 Kentridge. On the girls side, Jackson of Mill Creek is in the loser’s bracket.

Top-ranked Ferris boys team and Kentwood’s girls cruised to big wins.

How about Bellarmine Prep’s Avery Bradley going off for 37 points with Washington coach Lorenzo Romar in attendance. Bradley says he has scholarships from all the Pac-10 schools, Kansas, Kentucky, Kansas State and more. Where will he end up?

How about the small schools? Bellevue Christian’s boys survived in overtime. Bear Creek’s boys lost their first state game in the school’s history.

But it’s all about you. What stands out in your mind?
