Quaker Summer Slam schedule (updated 5/29)

There aren’t many summer basketball tournaments with more quality teams than the Quaker Summer Slam, which will be this weekend at Franklin and West Seattle High School. You can see the entire (updated) schedule here.

Some notable teams and players:

Rainier Beach, defending 3A champion. Features Aaron Dotson, one of the state’s top recruits.

Franklin, took fifth in 4A, moving to 3A. Features Louisville-bound guard Peyton Siva.

Bellarmine Prep, third-place in 4A. Features Avery Bradley and Arizona bound-Abdul Gaddy, two of the top 25 recruits in the country.

Kentwood. Features Josh Smith, a highly ranked sophomore.

Garfield. 4A state tournament qualifier. Features Tony Wroten, ranked in several spots as the country’s top freshman.

Lincoln. Took fourth in 4A.
