Good Game or Stud Player?

We’re constantly asking you, the casual high school football fan, what gets you out to a Friday night game. Is it the stadium? Good weather? A Friday night without plans?

But when given the choice — again, we’re talking to you, casual high school football fan — of going to a high-profile game between two top teams or going to check out a stud player, what do you do? WHAT DO YOU DO?!

For example, Bellevue-Bothell is about as marquee a game as it gets this early in the season, but if you head over to Bellevue High tomorrow evening, you might miss Edmonds-Woodway’s Tony Heard going off against Everett or Jake Heaps and Gino Simone playing “throw and catch” against Ballard.

So? Are you at the big game or keeping tabs on the high school star? Your thoughts, please, in the comments.

3. Filomina Cervantes, Franklin, volleyball. Had eight kills, 13 digs and five blocks in a sweep of Ingraham.
