Week five football rankings

Some thoughts:

-Fourteen quarters. Seven halves. More than three games. Any way you want to put it, Olympia’s shutout streak has been impressive. Not since the first half of their opening game have the Bears allowed any kind of score. And a 31-0 win against Bellarmine Prep has to be one of the more impressive showings of the season for any team.

-Big games this weekend for a pair of KingCo 4A teams in the rankings: Woodinville at Inglemoor, and Issaquah at Eastlake.

-Graham-Kapowsin, at No. 10 in 4A, should be in an interesting race in the SPSL South with Curtis, Rogers and Puyallup.

-Bellevue survived one of its largest tests of the season against Mount Si last Friday. Who’s the best threat to the Wolverines left in KingCo 2A/3A? Juanita and Liberty might sort that out Friday.
