Friday Morning Stars

1. C.J. Munko, Tahoma, boys golf. Here’s Munko line for nine holes at Lake Wilderness Golf Coruse: five birdies, an eagle, two pars and a bogey. Put it all together, and it’s a 6-under 28, one of the more incredible scores of the year. Also not too shabby: Woodinville’s Jarrett Foote shot a 3-under 33 at Echo Falls.

2. Austin Terry, Inglemoor, football. They’ve got a little thunder-and-lightning situation over at Inglemoor, where bruiser Paul Ena takes the tough carries up the middle and Terry breaks the big ones. On Thursday night, he broke seven carries for 151 yards and a touchdown in a huge Inglemoor win, 37-20 against Roosevelt.

3. Kelly Tannhauser, Juanita, girls swimming. Tannhauser swam two state qualifying times on Thursday, finishing the 200 free in 1:55.09 and taking the 500 free in 5:03.07. Also part of the winning 400 free relay team, Tannhauser helped the Rebels beat Ballard, 114-72.
