Sunday Morning Stars

1. Anna Skutley, Liberty, girls soccer. Skutley scored two goals and assisted the third of a 3-0 Liberty win against Sammamish. Those three points were valuable for Liberty which jumped ahead of the Totems into fourth place in the KingCo 2A/3A.

2. Marion Bactol, Eastside Catholic, football. The Crusaders have a great thing going on this season, especially with Bactol returning kicks. His 90-yard kickoff return touchdown against Bishop Blanchet was his third in three games, and he added a 12-yard rushing score and an interception for good measure. The Crusaders hope to get another big return from Bactol next week against O’Dea.

3. Andre Barrington, Federal Way, football.Wazzu probably wishes it could have this guy right now (can he play QB?). He ran for 102 yards and added eight tackles (three for a loss) in the Eagles’ 21-0 win against Auburn Riverside.
