-What’s on the line this Friday at Issaquah, when Skyline comes down from the plateau? How about the KingCo Crest division, neighborhood bragging rights, and possibly the No. 1 spot in our 4A rankings.
-Meanwhile, Olympia, Ferris, Auburn, Central Valley, Southridge and Marysville-Pilchuck keep winning. Ferris came back great from last week’s six-turnover game with a 34-0 win on Friday. Let’s see if the Saxons get their QB back for the postseason.
-Federal Way was in our preseason top 10, and the Eagles fought their way back in this week after a 21-0 win against Auburn Riverside. Their only loss came against Auburn, a game that Andre Barrington didn’t play in.
-Gig Harbor makes its debut in 4A. The Tides’ only loss came to No. 2 Olympia.
-Bothell was our preseason No. 2, but the Cougars haven’t been in the rankings since their season-opening loss to Issaquah. They’re not in yet, but they are making a push after last week’s win against Woodinville certainly helped.
-A few interesting games this week in 3A: Kennedy visits Lindbergh on Thursda, and on Friday,
Eastside Catholic plays O’Dea at West Seattle Stadium and West Seattle plays Rainier Beach at the Southwest Athletic Complex
-After an impressive 24-6 win against Capital, North Kitsap returns to the No. 10 spot in 3A.
