AP football poll — 10/15

Here’s this week AP football poll, which is done by a panel of state sportswriters (I am one of them). You’ll see no differences between our Times top 10s in 4A and 3A and the AP poll, as Olympia jumped up to second despite having no first-place votes (and one seventh-place vote). So in just about every arena, Friday’s Skyline-Issaquah game is No. 1 vs. No. 3. Should be a great one, and we’ll have an inside look at the game tomorrow night with the weekly breakdown.

Also, you might notice that Ferndale grabbed a few more first-place votes in 3A, and while I understand it, Bellevue hasn’t done anything to convince me it’s not No. 1.

First-place votes are in parentheses. All records provided by the Associated Press.
