Sunday Morning Stars

1. Rebekah Kurle, Kennedy, girls soccer. You don’t see too many five-goal games that often, but Kurle did it last night in 7-1 win against Holy Names. And not only did she score five goals, she also added an assist.

2. Alex Johnson, Bainbridge, football. The guys on the island really needed Saturday’s game, and Johnson delivered 166 yards rushing and the go-ahead touchdown in a 34-22 victory against Lakeside.

3. Cameron Cutter, Bishop Blanchet, football. Cutter not only ran for 117 yards and three TDs, he also had three tackles for a loss that knocked Seattle Prep back 45 yards. The Braves ended up holding Prep to -1 rushing yards.
