Saturday Morning Stars

1. Jake Frauenholtz, Everett, football. Frauenholtz not only scored four touchdowns (including a 67-yard TD run on the first play of the game), he also had two interceptions in a big 40-13 win against Shorecrest. There are now four 2-1 teams in WesCo 3A, and a lot to sort out next weekend.

2. T.J. Lee, West Seattle, football. Lee has been The Man for the Wildcats this season, and in a 42-13 win against Chief Sealth, he rushed for scores of 89, 18, 4 and 65 yards. It’s off to the Metro title game against Eastside Catholic for West Seattle.

3. Michael Chamerski, Jackson, boys tennis. With a 6-1, 6-2 win against Edmonds-Woodway’s Mike Stepenski, Chamerski won the WesCo South tennis tournament. Meadowdale’s Scott Bohmke won the WesCo 3A tournament.
