Tuesday Morning Stars

1. Ashley Eneliko, Kennedy, volleyball. Eneliko had 17 kills and four blocks in Kennedy’s win in the Seamount League semifinals, setting up a championship match against Mount Rainier (which beat Highline 3-2).

2. Avi Castro, Rainier Beach, football. Took the opening kickoff back 94 yards for a touchdown in the Quakers’ 27-6 win against Franklin in the Vikes’ first mini-game of the night. That clinched a playoff spot, and then Rainier Beach won 7-0 against Nathan Hale in the next mini-game to clinch the Metro Sound’s second seed.

3. Kaity Brough, Mount Rainier, girls soccer. Brough had two goals and an assist in a 6-0 win against Renton.
