FINAL: Bellevue 28, Capital 6

It’s over. Bellevue won 28-6 in a game the Wolverines were never in danger of losing. It’s like I said last week, team’s facing the wing-T for the first time rarely ever defend it well. In fact, since 2003, those teams are now 23-1.

So, in other words, best of luck to Union. The Titan coaches were here tonight, so they know what’s coming their way. Bellevue’s going to be awfully tough to beat.

8:53 p.m.: Bellevue leads 28-6 with 3:09 left in the fourth quarter.

8:24 p.m. Bellevue leads 28-0 after a Sean Coley 4-yard touchdown.

7:54 p.m.: Halftime: Bellevue 21, Capital 0. The Wolverines have 208 yards rushing and have held Captial to 100 total yards.

7:39 p.m.: Bellevue’s well on its way to heading back to the Class 3A title game, jumping out to a 21-0 lead with 5:50 left in the 2nd quarter. The Wolverines scored twice in the first five minutes, and Jamal Atofau just added his second touchdown to make it 21-0.
