Thursday Morning Stars

1. Marcissa McMillan, Lindbergh, girls basketball. One of the girls you’re going to hear a lot from this season. In a 61-24 win against Highline, McMillian scored 27 points to lead Lindbergh.

2. Jordan Nemo, Stanwood, girls basketball. Nemo found the bottom of the basket plenty on Wednesday night, leading Stanwood with 24 points in a win against Everett.

3. Kyra Prause, Arlington, girls basketball. Prause scored 23 points to lead Arlington, which held off Lake Stevens and Meghan Warbis (24 points) in a 59-51 win.
