Saturday Morning Stars

1. Jordan Kidd, Chief Sealth, boys basketball. Here’s one of the guys to keep a close eye on all season. He scored 32 points in his first game of the season, a 60-51 win against Cleveland.

2. Ellie Martinez, Eastlake, girls basketball. Martinez scored 21 points, and added 12 rebounds, to give the Wolves a 58-37 win against Skyline that had been close until late in the third quarter.

3. Chris McGrath, Cascade, boys basketball. McGrath scored 31 points in a 61-46 win against Oak Harbor. He is averaging 27.7 points through three games.
