Franklin makes Ky. tournament final

The Franklin Quakers began the King of the Bluegrass Holiday Classic tournament by gutting out a win with just eight players. They made it to the finals with their senior point guard, Peyton Siva, gutting out a 32-point 10 assist performance in a comeback against Coral Reef of Miami.

When Siva goes to Louisville next year, someone will need to put together a list of his top games. This one should be right up there (the 45-point game against Beach last year also comes to mind right away). Siva had a sprained ankle, yet he shot 17-of-18 at the line and hit 3 of 6 three-pointers.

Four other Franklin players — the ever-reliable Chris Holmes, Dominique Wilson, Freddy Wilson and freshman Anrio Adams — scored in double figures. Top-ranked Franklin shot 54.5 percent from the field.
