Thursday Morning Stars

1. Courtney Martin, Redmond, girls basketball. Martin scored 21 points to lead Redmond to a 46-45 win against Woodinville (which was accidentally erroneously reported to the Times as Woodinville winning).

2. Carlie Wolken, Skyline, girls basketball. Wolken had 23 points to lead Skyline in a win against Lake Washington.

3. Peter Zajac, Mercer Island, boys basketball. Zajac scored 17 points to lead the Islanders to a big 60-38 win against Interlake. Mercer Island better be warmed up, with third-ranked Bellevue waiting on Friday.
