VIDEO: Scorekeeper fight in Massachusetts

Basketball scorekeepers from rival schools got into a bit of a fracas last week in a game between Lexington and Watertown.

Both will go to court for possible assault and battery charges. In the video you can see one scorekeeper splash water at the face of the other, only to receive a punch in retaliation.

Police did not say what set off the sideline clash, but among the varying accounts from witnesses, the most common version is that the two scorekeepers had been arguing throughout the game about the number of fouls a Lexington player had called against him.

Fortunately the violence was contained to the scorers table.
