Thursday Morning Stars

1. Nathan Krohn, Northwest Yeshiva, boys basketball. Krohn, a 5-foot-10 senior, had 30 points, 10 rebounds, five steals and four assists in a victory against Washington.

2. Carlie Wolken, Skyline, girls basketball. Wolken scored 23 points to lead Skyline to a 58-50 victory against Redmond. If you want to see a good division in girls basketball, look at the KingCo Crest; Skyline and Redmond are at 8-7 and are actually tied for last. Both would make more than suitable state tournament teams.

3. Alexa Smith, Issaquah, girls basketball. With 22 points, Smith led the Eagles to a 69-57 win against Newport that clinched the KingCo Crest.
