State swimming champions

Here are the boys who have won today, in front of a very nice crowd at the King Aquatic Center:

Class 3A

200 medley relay: Mercer Island, 1:34.25 (new state record).

200 freestyle: Mac Lowry, Mt. Rainier, 1:40.37 (wins by 0.01 over Mercer Island’s Murray Longbotham).

200 IM: Owen Wurzbacher, Lakeside, 1:50.26.

50 freestyle: Ethan Hallowell, Eastside Catholic, 20.58

Diving: Beau Riebe, Mercer Island, 445.75

100 butterfly: Murray Longbotham, Mercer Island, 50.82

100 freestyle: Ethan Hallowell, Eastside Catholic, 45.26

500 freestyle: Mac Lowry, Mt. Rainier, 4:36.98

200 freestyle relay: Mercer Island, 1:27.71.

100 back: Alexander Hoff, 49.79

100 breaststroke: Owen Wurzbacher, 55.68.

400 freestyle relay: Mercer Island, 3:06.71 (new state record)

Class 4A

200 freestyle: Bryan Michaels, Shorewood, 1:39.64

200 medley relay: Kamiak, 1:38.56 (beat Shorewood by a hundredth of a second).

200 individual medley: Trevor LeValley, Marysville-Pilchuck, 1:55.02.

Diving: Max Klassen, Redmond, 452.90 points.

100 freestyle: Logan Goodman, Snohomish, 47.50

100 butterfly: Cody Roberts, Richland, 47.81 (new state record)

500 freestyle: Bryan Michaels, Shorewood, 4:31.55

200 freestyle relay: Kamiak, 1:28.72.

100 backstroke: Cody Roberts, Richland, 50.37

100 breastroke: Garren Riechel, Snohomish, 54.49

50 freestyle: Garren Riechel, Snohomish, 21.14

400 freestyle relay: Kamiak, 3:13.82

Team winner: Kamiak, 222 points.
