Halftime — Fuller leads all scoring with 10, followed by Brown with nine for the Lancers. Fisher and Morgan Merriman have contributed eight and seven, resectively for Lakeside. Each team committed 12 turnovers during the first half.

End of 2nd qtr — Kennedy 29, Lakeside 24. The last two points came from Fuller, fouled on a three point play, who went 2-3 from the line.

1:27 2nd qtr — Whitney Best scores for the Lions, bringing them within five, 27-22. Kennedy’s had nine turnovers so far this quarter, which probably merits a talking-to from coach Tom Mummert come halftime. There’s a basket from Erika Fisher, and now Lakeside’s within three.

2:35 2nd qtr — Fuller hits one of her famous, practically-from-the-sidelines threes to make it 27-20. Barnes to the line for Lakeside again after a Chelsea Lockart foul, her first.
