Tuesday Morning Stars

1. Spencer Nelson, Interlake, baseball. Nelson hit for the cycle on Monday, driving in three runs in a 6-5 victory against Juanita.

2. Julia Nealer, Lynnwood, softball. Nealer struck out 18 batters in a no-hitter, one the Royals needed in a 1-0 win against Meadowdale. Get this: Nealer has now gone 19 innings without allowing a hit.

3. Ben Todd, Jackson, boys soccer. In the 79th minute — that’s about as close as it gets — Todd scored the winning goal in Jackson’s 2-1 win against Kamiak.
