Wednesday Morning Stars

1. Kori Seidlitz, Mountlake Terrace, softball. Seidlitz, one of the area’s top pitchers, threw a no-hitter Tuesday, getting 15 strikeouts in seven innings without allowing a hit or walk.

2. Cody Hastings, Monroe, baseball. In the top of the sixth inning, Hastings hit the two-run home run that gave Monroe a 2-1 victory against second-ranked Snohomish.

3. Andrew Groves, Kamiak, baseball. Groves threw a one-hitter in seven innings, with 12 strikeouts to one walk, to give Kamiak a 6-0 win against Edmonds-Woodway, which had been undefeated in WesCo.
