Baseball rankings (4/13)

I will have to make this quick, as I’m posting from a family vacation, but here are my quick thoughts on this week:

-Both No. 1s lose. But a 4-3 loss doesn’t shake my confidence in Richland, which has too much talent. And Eastside Catholic, which rebounded from its loss to Eastlake with a win against Skyline, slides just to No. 2 in 3A, behind dominant Bishop Blanchet.

-Remember, Bishop Blanchet and Eastside Catholic play April 22 and 24.

-New teams this week in 4A: Marysville-Pilchuck and Bothell.

-New teams this week in 3A: Prairie and Highline.
