Wednesday Morning Stars

1. Julia Nealer, Lynnwood, softball. Nealer pitched 15 shutout innings on Tuesday, waiting for her team to score the winning run as she struck out 27 batters (it should be noted the Mountlake Terrace’s Kori Seidlitz went 14 1/3 innings and struck out 24). The Royals won in the bottom of the 15th, when Kely Parker drove in Jordyn Berg for the winning run.

2. Dani Jackman, Jackson, softball. Jackman threw a five-inning no-hitter against Shorecrest, striking out 11. She also went 3-for-3 with a home run and 3 RBIs in a 10-0 win.

3. Quinn Naughtin, Edmonds-Woodway, baseball. Naughting went four-for5, with two home runs and 6 RBIs, in a 14-8 win against Glacier Peak.
