Saturday Morning Stars

1. Kori Seidlitz, Mountlake Terrace, softball. Seidlitz, no stranger to the morning stars, threw a no-hitter in a 9-0 win against Kamiak. She struck out 18, allowed just one walk and and also had a double and a triple.

2. Andrey Levkiv, Hazen, track & field. Levkiv, with a throw of 58 feet, 1 1/2 inches, broke the Renton All-City Meet record in the shot put. He also won the discus with a throw of 168 feet,

3. Eric Peterson, Liberty, baseball. He had a home run and three RBIs on Friday, and this is the impressive part: he kept his slugging percentage above 1.000. That’s right, he averages more than one base per at-bat. And that’s for a shortstop! That’s why Washington wants him for next season.
