Friday Morning Stars

1. Julia Nealer, Lynnwood, softball. How about this for a perfect night: 12 innings, no hits, no walks, 23 strikeouts. Nealer kept Kamiak off the board until Lynnwood scored the winning run in the bottom of the 12th.

2. Josh Sale, Bishop Blanchet, baseball. Sale, one of the top juniors in the state, hit a three-run home run, a two-run home run and a souble for six RBIs in Blanchet’s 11-2 win against Bainbridge. Blanchet moves on to face O’Dea, which shocked Eastside Catholic with a 3-2 win.

3. Ryan Desimone, Lynnwood, baseball. Desimone went 3-for-3 with a grand slam in Lynwood’s 5-1 playoff win against Ferndale.
