Two more basketball commitments

John Gage, who led Vashon to the Class 1A title last March, has committed to Stanford along with Bellevue’s Aaron Bright. Gage, a growing 6-foot-9 forward, had tons of interest from Washington.

Mercedes Wetmore, who will be a senior next season at Auburn Riverside, has committed to play women’s basketball at Washington next year. Wetmore was a big contributor on the team that won the 2008 Class 4A title.
