SPSL 4A basketball MVPs named

The SPSL 4A basketball coaches selected their MVPs and all-league teams Wednesday night.

I’m still waiting for the official list with proper spellings, which won’t come until tomorrow, but I can tell you the MVPs for now.

No one should be surprised to hear that Cole Dickerson from Federal Way is the boys choice in the SPSL North. He has had a great season for the top-ranked Eagles.

In the South, the nod went to Beamer’s Kevin Davis, who is a triple-double threat every time he steps on the court.

Things weren’t so clear cut on the girls side, where there are co-MVPs in both divisions. Mercedes Wetmore (Auburn Riverside) and Kylie Huerta (Kentwood) shared the honor in the North, while Nichole Jones (Rogers) and Kylee Parker (Graham-Kapowsin) were the South selections.

Check back tomorrow for the full lists.
