An early look at the 4A state hoops tourney (Updated)

The final entries into the 4A state tournament were decided Saturday. Here is a look at the teams that have qualified.

Seeding for the tournament will take place on Sunday and we will have coverage both on the blog and in the paper, as well as full coverage leading up to and through the tournament.

Here are the teams that are in:

No. 1 Federal Way

No. 3 Gonzaga Prep

No. 5 Walla Walla

No. 6 Jackson

No. 7 Kentwood

No. 8 Skyline

No. 9 Lake Washington

No. 10 Decatur

Auburn

Davis

Eastlake

Lake Stevens

Lincoln

Mead

Stanwood

Wilson

Played on Saturday:

No. 9 Lake Washington defeats Skyview (Vancouver), 67-55. (winner-to-state, loser-out)

Eastlake defeats Mountain View (Vancouver), 88-60. (winner-to-state, loser-out)

Lake Stevens defeats Stanwood, 74-71 for the Northwest 4A District Tournament title at Jackson High School.
