Here is a look back at the high school sports action from Saturday:
— Auburn won the first game of a doubleheader, beating Auburn Riverside, 10-3. Travis Hagel homered for Auburn and teammate Kyle Davis was 3-4 with two RBI.
— Stetson Olson homered and Axl Snure went 4-5 with two RBI in Kentridge’s 11-2 win against Auburn.
— Dylan Davis and Michael Conforto each drove in three runs in Redmond’s 10-1 win against Eastlake. Ryan Beliel allowed a run on six hits in five innings.
— Jeff Brigham homered and Mitch McQueen doubled twice and drove in two runs in Jefferson’s 6-2 win against Kentwood.
— Jared Casper homered twice, doubled and drove in five runs in Tahoma’s 14-4 win against Kentwood. Taylor Smart added a two-run shot for Tahoma.
— Tahoma then lost to Federal Way, 4-3. Austin Webber drove in four runs for Federal Way.
Casper was 1-2 with a double to finish off a torrid week at the plate. The senior went 13-15 (.866) with seven home runs, three doubles and 14 RBI in five games. He has 11 home runs this season.
— Doug Christie hit a solo home run and Austin Pernell drove in four runs in Kentlake’s 10-0 win against Kent-Meridian.
— Steve Leighton allowed an earned run on three hits in five and a third innings as Eastside Catholic beat Nathan Hale, 5-2.
— Federal Way’s Kayla Quiroga allowed four earned runs in five innings despite not giving up a hit in a 15-4 win against Kent-Meridian. Quiroga struck out two and walked three.
Olivia Timothy went 3-3 with four RBI, while teammate Thea Davelaar doubled and drove in three runs.
— Sarah Rose doubled and hit a solo home run in Puyallup’s 8-0 win against Decatur. Kelsey Robinson struck out 11 in the win.
— Jefferson’s Casey Kim scored a pair of goals in a 4-2 win against Federal Way. Teammate Isidro Prado-Huerta had a goal and an assist.
Kelyn Rowe scored both of Federal Way’s goals.
— Connor Gutierrez assisted both of Auburn Riverside’s goals in a 2-0 win against Tahoma. Troy Albin and Tanner Fairweather split the shutout.
— Dominique Dismuke had two goals and an assist for Decatur in a 3-1 win against Emerald Ridge.
