Final SPSL 4A baseball tournament pairings

Emerald Ridge beat Curtis 14-1 in a tiebreaker game Tuesday earn the South Division’s No. 3 seed into the South Puget Sound League 4A baseball tournament.

It was a key victory as the Jaguars are now assured of a berth into the West Central District tourney, and plays Tahoma Saturday for seeding purposes only. Curtis, meanwhile, must win a pair of loser-out games to advance.

Here’s the final the lineup for the SPSL tournament:

Friday, May 7

GAME 1 Graham-Kapowsin vs. Jefferson

(loser out) 4:00 P.M.

GAME 2 Kentlake vs. Curtis

(loser out) 7:00 P.M.

Saturday, May 8

GAME 3 Emerald Ridge vs. Tahoma

(winner #5, loser #6) 10:00 A.M.

GAME 4 WINNER 1 VS. WINNER 2

(winner #7, loser out) 1:00 P.M.

GAME 5 Federal Way vs. Rogers

(winner #3, loser #4) 4:00 P.M.

GAME 6 Puyallup vs. Kentwood

(winner #1, loser #2) 7:00 P.M.
