Here is a look back at the high school sports action from Wednesday night, compiled by Brady Henderson.
Softball:
— Lindsey Milner and Kylie Studioso both homered in Meadowdale’s 10-1 win against Shorecrest.
Studioso struck out 13 and allowed two hits in a complete game. Teammate Jen Zenger was 5-5 with two doubles.
— Corinne Kleeberger allowed two hits in four scoreless innings in West Seattle’s 3-1 win against Chief Sealth.
Al’Asia Davis drove in a pair of runs for West Seattle. Chief Sealth’s lone run came on a leadoff home run by Chloe Behar in the first inning.
— Cat Williams hit a three-run home run in Woodinville’s 5-2 win against Inglemoor.
— Chimacum’s Brittany Nelson threw a complete game, allowing an earned run on five hits in a 4-1 win against Klahowya.
— Dalia Davis and Kayla Roth both homered in Cedar Park Christian’s 10-0 win against Forest Ridge.
— Issaquah’s Mikenzie Voves struck out 16 in a 5-4, nine-inning win against Skyline. Voves allowed four runs (one earned) on six hits and two walks in a complete game.
— Lynnwood’s Kelsie Mason homered and drove in three runs in a 6-5 win against Kamiak.
Angie McFall was 4-4 with a home run for Kamiak.
— Glacier Peak’s Kaylee Lawson won a pitchers’ duel with Shorewood’s Madison Hollenbeck.
Lawson struck out eight and allowed three hits in a complete game, 1-0 win. Hollenbeck took the loss despite allowing just one run on three hits in seven innings.
— Nikole Weber, Alleigha Robinson and Brooke Evans combined for a no-hitter in Kentlake’s 17-0 win against Kent-Meridian. Evans was 4-4 with an RBI and two runs.
Baseball:
— Cameron Booser was 4-4 with a pair of doubles and three RBI in Fife’s 10-8 win against Washington.
Kyle Wiest hit a three-run home run for Washington.
— Trevor Mitsui and Max Jacobs both homered as Shorewood beat Oak Harbor, 3-2, in a play-in game to the Northwest 4A District Tournament.
Kevin Moriarty pitched six and a third innings and allowed two unearned runs on two hits. He struck out 10 and walked four.
— La Trey Newesome went 3-3 with a pair of doubles, two RBI and three runs in West Seattle’s 13-3 win against Chief Sealth.
Teammate Jordan Turpen was 3-3, drove in three runs and scored three times. Tim Tinkler doubled twice.
— O’Dea’s Shane Smith and Kyle Helle each went 2-3 with two RBI and two runs in a 12-2 win against Bainbridge. Jake Holmes was 3-3 with two doubles.
Boys soccer:
— Willem Van Brederode scored twice in Nathan Hale’s 3-2 win against West Seattle.
— Tanner Sellars had two goals and two assists in Lake Stevens’ 9-0 win against Oak Harbor.
AJ Calcagno also scored twice. Vasily Bogdanoff had a goal and three assists. Tanner Eney and Michael Pierce split the shutout.
— Glenn Paden scored three times in Shorecrest’s 6-1 win against Mountlake Terrace. Eli Blauser had two goals and two assists.
— Edixon Velasquez scored twice in Evergren’s 8-0 win against Lindbergh.
Kenny Albright added a goal and two assists. Erick Hernandez and Jose Cardenas Lopez split the shutout.
— Darwin Jones scored a pair of goals in Mount Rainier’s 3-2 win against Kennedy Catholic.
— Kamiak beat Mariner in a shootout.
Zach Faller had Kamiak’s lone regulation goal as well as a goal in the shootout.
