10:01 p.m.: Mike Potoshnik scores the game-winning run on a wild pitch in the eighth inning to give the Islanders a 4-3 win over Bellevue for the KingCo 3A title.

8:57 p.m.: After six it’s Bellevue 3, Mercer Island 3 here at Bannerwood. I will come back and update with with the final.

8:43 p.m.: Jordan Richartz scores on a wild pitch and the game is tied at three after five.

8:42 p.m.: David Oppenheim just drove in a run for MI with a sacrifice fly to right field. It’s now 3-2 with one out and a runner on third in the fifth.

8:41 p.m.: Jordan Richartz just hit a ground-rule double to left-center for Mercer Island. It hopped the fence and MI has runners on second and third with no outs. He barely missed a home run.

8:35 p.m.: Nick Moyer is having himself quite the defensive game. With two on in the fourth, MI’s Kirby Ingram drove a single up the middle. Moyer came up throwing from center field. It was a close play at the plate that resulted in the third out.

Moyer’s made a great play to end three of the first four innings here at Bannerwood Park.

It’s 2-1 Bellevue in the top of the fifth.

8:09 p.m.: Charlie Kemp drove in a run with an RBI double in the top of the fourth to give Bellevue a 2-1 lead.

Mercer Island’s Jordan Richartz made a great catch in center to end the top half of the frame. There have been some impressive plays in the outfield from both teams.

7:47 p.m.: Bellevue is on the board after an RBI single from Jack Meggs in the third.

Timmy Stanaway had a one-out single to left. He advanced to second on a wild pitch, third on an error and scored on Meggs’ single to right.

7:37 p.m.: Mercer Island takes the lead, 1-0, after an RBI single from pitcher George Jiranek in the second inning.

The Islanders then had two runners on with two outs before Nick Moyer made another diving, run-saving catch to end the frame.

7:18 p.m.: It looked like Mercer Island might crack the scoreboard in the first inning when David Oppenheim sent a fly ball to left-center with two on and two out. However, Nick Moyer made a diving catch to end the inning.

There’s no score after one.

6:50 p.m.: We’re about 10 minutes away from the first pitch in the matchup between Bellevue and Mercer Island for the KingCo 3A title. I will have updates here and on Twitter @masonkelley.
