First-round pairings for West Central District 4A softball

Here are the first-round pairings for the West Central District 4A softball tournament next Friday and Saturday at Sprinker Recreation Center in Spanaway.

The complete bracket probably won’t be posted on the district website until Monday and I’ll link you to it then.

But for now I wanted you to be able to see the opening games. Six teams will advance to the state tournament.

Friday’s first-round games:

Gig Harbor (Narrows 6) vs. Puyallup (SPSL 2), 10 a.m.

Central Kitsap (Narrows 4) vs. Tahoma (SPSL 5), 10 a.m.

Spanaway Lake (SPSL 7) vs. Rogers (SPSL 3), 10 a.m.

Beamer (SPSL 9) vs. South Kitsap (Narrows 1), 10 a.m.

Kentwood (SPSL 8) vs. Stadium (Narrows 2), 10 a.m.

Bellarmine Prep (Narrows 5) vs. Jefferson (SPSL 4), 10 a.m.

Kentridge (SPSL 6) vs. Wilson (Narrows 3), noon

Emerald Ridge (SPSL 10) vs. Kentlake (SPSL 1), noon
