West Central District softball brackets

The West Central District 4A, 3A and 2A softball tournaments run Friday-Saturday at the Sprinker Recreation Center in Tacoma (I’ve always thought it this was considered Spanaway, but the address says Tacoma).

I’ll be there Friday and Saturday to cover the 4A and 3A tourneys, and I’ll keep an eye on Interlake in the 2A event, too.

Six of the 4A teams will advance to state. You can find the 4A district bracket here.

The 3A tournament is actually a West Central/Southwest bi-district affair as it also involves teams from the Southwest District, including second-ranked Union and third-ranked Prairie. Eight of the 16 teams will go on to state, and that’s half of the state qualifiers.

You can find the 3A bi-district bracket here.

Two 2A teams will move on, and you can get the district bracket here.

I will try to provide scores on the blog throughout Friday and Saturday. If you’re a softball fan, though, you should just come on down. It’s a great prelude to state.
