West Central District softball updates

Check back here throughout the day for scores from the West Central District softball tournaments.

Here are the final scores of the day from the 3A tournament, both loser-out:

Kennedy 10, Lakes 0

Auburn Mountainview 5, Highline 4

Tournament play resumes Tuesday at 10 a.m., weather permitting, and I’ll be back with more updates then. My story should be posted on the web later this evening.

The 4A tournament is done for today. Here are the four consolation games from this afternoon (all loser-out)

Central Kitsap 5, Gig Harbor 1

Beamer 15, Spanaway Lake 0

Kentwood 7, Bellarmine Prep 1

Emerald Ridge 14, Kentridge 3

And in 3A, two loser-out games are done:

Camas 4, Timberline 2

Peninsula 4, Olympic 3

Two games are still in progress (Kennedy vs. Lakes and Auburn Mountainview vs. Highline).

2A scores from today:

Fife 5, Interlake 3

Eatonville 10, Sequim 0

4A quarterfinal scores:

Puyallup 1, Tahoma 0

Rogers 5, South Kitsap 3

Stadium 5, Jefferson 2

Kentlake 7, Wilson 6

Here are the fisrst-round 3A scores (note that the winners don’t play again until Tuesday):

Enumclaw 3, Timberline 1

Bonney Lake 7, Camas 2

Union 7, Peninsula 0

Mount Rainier 11, Olympic 0

Capital 4, Kennedy Catholic 3

Prairie 9, Lakes 1

Port Angeles 4, Auburn Mountainview 0

Here are the first-round 4A scores (note that all of the higher-seeded teams won):

Puyallup 8, Gig Harbor 1

Tahoma 7, Central Kitsap 4

Rogers 1, Spanaway Lake 0 (8 inn.)

South Kitsap 11, Beamer 7

Stadium 7, Kentwood 5

Jefferson 11, Bellarmine 1

The 3A and 2A tourneys started a little later than 4A, so I’ll follow with those in a bit.
