Renton looking for Week 2 football opponent

This is a big year for Renton High School, which will be celebrating its centennial this fall.

The Indians would like to have a full football schedule, but currently do not have an opponent for the second week of the season, Sept. 9-10-11.

Donald Ponds, the school’s new head football coach, said Renton would like to host a game at Renton Stadium on Friday, Sept. 10. But he said he is also willing to travel Sept. 9, 10 or 11.

Interested coaches can contact him via e-mail (Donald.Ponds@rentonschools.us) or phone (425-518-1701).
