Lee Reichert is retiring as wrestling coach at Enumclaw High School after 15 successful seasons.
He also is retirning from reaching, according to Enumclaw athletic director Kevin Smith.
Reichert led the Hornets to back-to-back Class 3A state championships in 2008 and ’09 and was the 3A state coach of the year in 2007. Enumclaw narrowly missed a third straight title last season, finishing second to Yelm, 148.5-142.
Reichert came to Enumclaw from Kentwood, where he was co-head coach with Jack Henderson. The Conquerors won three consecutive 4A titles from 1991-93.
During his tenure at the two schools, Reichert coached 16 individual champions and 98 place-winners.
