WesCo champ Arlington will wait on playoff foe

Arlington’s victory over Jackson on Friday makes the Eagles the de facto WesCo champions. But Arlington will wait until Tuesday before it knows who its preliminary round playoff opponent will be.

The WesCo No. 1 seed, Arlington will face the SPSL pig-tail winner between South Division No. 5 Graham Kapowsin and North No. 5 Auburn Riverside. That preliminary preliminary playoff will be played on Tuesday before the winner moves on to face the Eagles at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Quil Ceda Stadium in Marysville.

The rest of the WesCo 4A playoff games:

– Marysville-Pilchuck hosts SPSL No. 3 Bethel, Saturday, at 7 p.m. at Quil Ceda

– Jackson hosts Kingco No. 4

– Lake Stevens, which ousted Mariner on Friday, and is the No. 5 seed to the playoffs, earns the right to visit unbeaten and SPSL No. 1 Curtis

– Edmonds-Woodway travels south to play SPSL North No. 2 Auburn
