Shorecrest, Everett move on

Shorecrest earned the third seed to the Class 3A preliminary playoff round with an 8-0 win over Everett in a Kansas City tie-breaker at Shoreline Stadium on Saturday. Shorecrest will play at Juanita next weekend.

Everett, which beat Mountlake Terrace, 7-0, in two overtimes, enters the playoffs as the WesCo 3A No. 4 seed. The Seagulls will play Mount Vernon on Tuesday at Everett Memorial Stadium with the winner advancing to play SPSL winner Lakes.
