Class 4A and 3A state football rankings — Week 9

Liberty was the only ranked team to lose in Class 3A and, since that loss was by three points to top-ranked Bellevue, the rankings in that classification remain unchanged this week.

Camas quarterback Logan Grindy suffered a broken leg during a win over Kelso that will end his season. That’s a big blow for the second-ranked Papermakers.

In 4A, there was a bit of shuffling. Bothell’s 31-21 loss to Skyline in the KingCo title game drops the Cougars to No. 5. Gonzaga Prep’s 38-13 loss to Ferris drops the Bullpups to No. 7.

Union lost to Skyview, 37-34, so the Titans fall out of the rankings. I considered putting Olympia in the rankings, but Rogers, with its only loss coming in Week 1 to second-ranked Curtis, gets the final spot in the top 10 this week.
