Skyline’s Kasen Williams named Gatorade POY

Skyline’s Kasen Williams was named the Gatorade Washington Player of the Year Thursday.

The 6-foot-2, 200-pound receiver is now a finalist for the Gatorade National Football Player of the Year award, which will be announced later this month.

So far this season, the University of Washington recruit has 83 catches for 1,539 yards and 21 touchdowns. Williams has also been named to the 2011 U.S. Army All-American team.
