Auburn lineman Danny Shelton is expected to pick either Washington and Oregon when he announces his verbal commitment at the Offense-Defense Bowl on Friday in Myrtle Beach, S.C.

Reports that Shelton would make his decision at the game popped up while I was out of the office for the holidays and Greg Biggins, who runs ESPN’s West recruiting blog, quoted Shelton on Thursday:

“I’m ready to make my decision,” Shelton said. “I’m still probably going to take more official visits after I commit and will probably check out UCLA. They have been recruiting me hard all year but my decision will be pretty solid when I make it.”
