A look back at boys hoops highlights from Wednesday night

I went out to Garfield on Wednesday night to get my first look at Garfield. The Bulldogs are playing some really good defense and seemed to validate their No. 1 ranking.

But, coach Ed Haskins said there is still room for improvement and I’ll have more on that in a blog post later today. Here’s my story from the game against Inglemoor.

At the end of the story I wrote about Tony Wroten Jr.’s big dunk late in the game. Here’s the video. I’m hoping to get a link I can embed later today.

Bethel 60, Federal Way 54

— Bethel’s Jacob Joseph scored 19 and Jordan Mayes finished with 13 in a win over Federal Way.

Jerry Duckworth scored 24 for the Eagles.

Hazen 66, Foster 63

Michael Dampier scored a game-high 17 points in Hazen’s win.

Tyee 58, Highline 41

— Tyee’s Shaffi Osman finished with 16 points.

Cedar Park Christian 68, Granite Falls 58

— Cedar Park Christian’s Victor Sviridyuk scored 24 points in a win.

Bush 66, Northwest Yeshiva 64

Andres Govela finished with 23 points for Bush, while Joey Becker scored 16 for Northwest Yeshiva.
