Anrio Adams still in Seattle, not attending South Kent School (updated)

I was able to confirm today that former Franklin standout Anrio Adams did not make the trip to attend South Kent School in Connecticut.

The 6-foot-3 shooting guard was scheduled to leave Jan. 14, but he remains in Seattle. It is unclear why he decided to stay.

He enrolled at Garfield on Monday, which was confirmed by principal Ted Howard. Based on WIAA rules, Adams will not be eligible to play for the Bulldogs, currently ranked No. 1 in Class 4A, this season.

However, there is a chance he could make an appeal based on hardship and it would be up to an eligibility committee to make a ruling.
